This week was hard, work is also stressful. I'm sure I'll get 5s on everything next week since I'll be eating more. Triples on squats are appropriate now. 5s on everything else.

Feeling great this week. I think my 5s for press have run out, gonna do triples for those now.

Quick question, why don't you do your intensity lifts on different days? For example on one day you do bench intensity followed by press volume, on the other you do press intensity followed by bench volume. That is how I commonly see the 4day split programmed around here.

Hi nate,
I'm doing a 4 day Texas Method, volume is on mon-tue and intensity is on thur-fri. Any other extra days or workouts is me just screwing around, when I probably should just be recovering with burritos.
I did a 4 day split for a while last year, and got pretty strong on it. But intensity and volume 4 days a week was tough, so I prefer the 4day TM.
Edit: the 4-day split was great, coming off of my LP around January last year (?). Ran it for a few months with consistent gains. But things just got heavy after a while, and I just felt beat up all week. I found that I prefer stacking volume early in the week. And on intensity days it's hard and fun, but without the volume it's not taxing. Then I can DL as my very last workout then chill for two days. I guess it's just preference.
