Intensity Squat: 395x5 (5PR!) Video with really crappy angle at Geoffrey Bischoff on Instagram: “395x5. Massive 5PR. Because screw injury, and screw 345. Praise the Lord. SDG #22000lbs4johnson #22miles4johnson #weights #wendler531…”
395x5 is a best triple, quad, and nickel all at once. Monday's hammy tweak scared me but didn't even squawk at me today.
Volume Bench: 280x5x5 (V25PR!)
This beats a 5x5 PR of 275 set back in January. Glad to finally erase that. Comp pause on set one.

Volume Squat: 335x5x5 (V25PR!)
These blew my stack. Not sure where the residual fatigue is from, but these were a real chore, and my lower back was so smoked afterward it effectively tanked my bench plans. I'll see what's up for Friday as the week progresses.
Intensity Bench: 275x1, 295x1, 315x1 (All Comp Pause)
I'd hoped to make a try at 320x5 for a 5PR today, but I was seeing stars like to pass out by 225, so I powered through some moderate singles and called it.
Curls: 85x4x3
Rows: 240x6x3
Got a rep-progression/alternating rep range scheme for curls and rows that I'm running right now. So far so good.

Grip was fine, and I got the 5PR. It was tougher than necessary since I unloaded a moving truck with a friend immediately before the session. Nevertheless I think I'll do 450x3x2 next week rather than risk a failed 5PR.
Press: 210x1x3 (V3 PR!)
Cycled rep ranges still working nicely here, and still functioning well as a midweek light press.
My program looks essentially TM again: Monday volume, Wednesday heavy pull and light push, Friday heavy squat and bench. If Friday goes well I hope to add some light deadlifts in to see if it may address grip strength issues I've seen.

Intensity Squat: 400x3x2 (3PR!) (V6 PR!) Video of first set at Geoffrey Bischoff on Instagram: “400x3. 3PR! On a very hot day in AZ. SDG! #22000lbs4johnson #22miles4johnson #weights #wendler531 #power #powerlifting #teamssoc…”
Thought I might do 5s for another week but I had slotting errors on this triple and racked it. Did another triple after, with a better 1 and 2, but 3rd rep there was also badly slotted. Focus problems or something. Whatevs; it's a Texas Method success still, and a double PR: Best triple ever (+10 lbs) and best 6-rep ever (+25 lbs)
Intensity Bench: 320x4 (4PR!) Video at Geoffrey Bischoff on Instagram: “320x4. 4PR. Didn't have 5 today. Still a PR. #22000lbs4johnson #22miles4johnson #weights #wendler531 #teamssoc #texasmethod #teambloc…”
Thought I might have it for 5 but the 5th rep got touched by the spotter. He says he only nudged it to keep me from hitting the uprights, and I believe him, but I still can't put it in the book. Guess it's triples for me next week. Maybe 325x3x2 I hope.
Light deadlift: 315x2x6 (EMOM)
This was to address grip strength by fatiguing my grip. On that count it was a failure: I wanted to do 2x10, but by set 6, a strange subdermal discoloration on my right palm began to ache acutely so I bagged it. So ... some junk tonnage, and a weird ouchie on my hand. Meh. Not enough data to know what any of this means yet.

GIP W10D1 (Conducted in two parts: Evening of 20190908, morning of 20190909
Got benches, curls, rows in at night after Army duty to save steam for volume squats.
Bench: 265x10 (10PR!), 275x9 (9PR!), 285x7 (7PR!)
Wanted to get my volume work done more quickly so I did three longer sets, and picked loads that would let me cross off some old records. This was remarkably satisfying, to hit a PR with each set.
Curl: 77.5x10, 9, 4
Supposed to be 10s across, but I could feel in set 1 that it wasn't going to happen. Rep progression at this load maybe? More likely: the 3 Questions is an issue (I lost 2 lbs over my Army weekend; that always happens).
Row: 245x4x3
Progression goal achieved. Next, back to 8s.
Volume Squt: 340x5x5 (V25PR!)
Not even a bit of lower back fatigue feelings this week. Glad for that.

Returned to 5s today and Beat my old sets-across PR by 10lbs. Got 4s next week; glad this went well. (T: 2925 for this segment)

Deadlift: 450x4, 3 (V7 PR!) Video of set 1 at Geoffrey Bischoff on Instagram: “450x4. Grip failed on 5 so I did a triple after. Total 450x7. Guess I'm in triples on TM now. Also: Why are these plates so bouncy?! SDG…”
Failed rep 5 for grip, so I came back to grab a triple to hit required volume.

I was quite glad to make this 5PR today.
Intensity Bench: 325x3x2 (V6 PR!)
So today I tied my best triple, and then did it twice.
A great intensity day today. God is good.
General:
1) Bought some barbell collars, the kind that are black and wrap around the whole bar with a red switch-release. They were waiting on my doorstep when I got home.
2) Recent deadlift grip problems: A comment from Nick Delgadillo on Facebook reminded me that part of my problem is the equipment. The bars at EoS have poor knurling, and a 19"-inch center gap (regulation is 17"). So I'm saving my pennies for a SS bar. Maybe by Christmas.

Got the Texas volume in, and also did a record set of 10.
Volume Squat: 330x10 (10PR!), 9 (9PR!), 6
25 reps here, too, and in the target % for TM. But I was feeling froggy so I condensed to 3 sets to pick up some long-set PRs. The 10PR replaced 315lbs from several months back; the 9PR is the first entry on that line in my log.
Rows/Curls: Not this week.
