Ended my last training block with 1405

Log here: 4-Day Texas Method 1435 total mid 20's dude

Back from a week in Hawaii and ready to get back at it
BW 225* (the scale in Hawaii said 233, but today it said 225 so idk what gives. My belt fits tighter though, so I think I gained some lbs. Good.)
    24yo

Squat, DL, and Bench will remain on a 4day TM.
Press will be programmed a bit different to allow 4 days of pressing per week.
All RMs will cycle between 3s, 2s, and 1s weekly for each lift.
See Cycling Intensity Day in PPST3e

Edit: Going to start at 3s and run those out to 2s, then 1s.

    The meat and potatoes:

Thanks! Hopefully we'll see a 275 press before the year's end.

    Tuesday 6/25/19
    Not feeling well

    Thursday 6/27/19
    Bench 320x3x2
    Pin press@chin (pin 6)
215x2 (wanted 5, too heavy at this height)
    195x5 (more appropriate)
    Split snatch 135x3x3

-need to focus on leg drive in the bench. 2nd set was actually easier cause I didn't do it well on the first.

    Friday 6/28/19
    Squat 505x1
    475x3x2
    Press 155x3x10 (dynamic effort)
    DL 555x3

    DLs from today:
    YouTube

These felt a lot slower and grindier than it looked. Time slows down in Deadlift Land.

Not enough time for DL volume. Considering doing that kind of stuff on Saturdays.

You are a strong young man. I made careful watch of you DL video. Form is exactly right. Mine is not always so correct. I can learn from you. Good work.

Thanks Carson. I'm always learning. Honestly my DL form was degrading for a while, but I found the "push your belly between your thighs" cue to be super helpful. My deadlifts feel a lot stronger when everything is correct.

    Friday 7/5/19
    Bench 325x3x2
Pin press at mouth (pin 6)
    235x3
    225x3
    Split snatch up to 170x1
    135x2x8

    Saturday 7/6/19
    Squat 505x2, 480x3
    DL 635x1 (Bigass PR)

Saturday was my birthday so I went for a PR deadlift: YouTube
25 is off to a good start

These two workouts were done in the evening cause of holiday shenanigans. Usually I go at 5:30am. What I find suprising is how consistently great I feel in the evening. Weights just feel lighter. However I still don't think I'm going to do evenings as a routine. There's too many people to get anything done, I don't like how much attention my lifts get, and I generally dislike having to do anything when I get off work.

    starting strength coach development program
    Monday 6/8/19
    Press 230x0, 225x1x2
    Bench 265x5x3, 245x5x2

Massive elbow pain today, I'm not sure what I did to acquire it. Presses weren't happening but I managed to get my bench volume in.
