    Hi Jared,

    Thanks! I picked up Starting Strength in July 2017, back when I could half squat 275 for a set of 8 and struggled to bench 185s.
    Must have weighed 190ish at the time. I lost my NLP log while moving though.

    Felt good on press, so tried a 275. Honestly didn't feel too heavy from chest to nose, but couldn't lock out.

    Barely couldn't lock out the last bench rep, fought hard for a solid 8 seconds. I bet I can get 315x5 next week.

    You had 5 in you easily based on the first 3 reps. I think maybe you rushed things a bit?
