Squat: 305x3x4
Deadlift: 420x3, 385x3
Supposed to backoff to a 3x3 @385 on the DL, but by this time I only had 15 minutes to change and get to a ceremony I was attending.

Press: 190x5x4 (V20 PR)
Despite the pain, my press is moving quickly. Each rep feels an eternity, but in film, it's trucking -- especially rep 4 of the last set, which seemed to levitate.
Bench (Myo-reps): 195x15, 9, 6, 5, 2, 3
40 total reps. Good pump.

Squat: 315x3x4
These are feeling really good. Left side IT band is barely squeaking.
Deadlift: 405x1x2 (Hex)
These are not feeling good. Was supposed to do a conventional triple at 425 with some backoffs, but now my right leg is dorked up. Did some foam rolling and such, but since pulls hurt all the way down to 135, I just goofed with the hex bar to see what it feels like. Tried 475 after I did 405 but it was welded to the floor today. Obviously I'm both a) Displaying a much lower strength than this time last year, due to various reasons and b) Not at all accustomed to the hex bar. Need to get used to the thing, though, since it's the Army's new toy.

4DIP, Week 9 assigned running
400m sprints:
1:32
1:43
So I can do a quarter at a sub-7 pace ... twice, anyway. :/

8s across. This is a tie for my best 3x8, which I completed on 20190728 ... Not bad. Why should training stop just because it hurts, eh?
Press: 175x10 (10PR!), 8 6 (V24 PR)
Rx was 175x6x4. I was feeling warm and stable, and elbow pain was lower than usual today after bench, so I reached a bit and decided I wanted to do my Rx 24 reps in 3 sets instead of 4. Started with a PR set of 10 (Woot), then finished with 8 and 6. This is a volume PR for 24 reps, but only because there is no entry in my PR Bible for a V24 on press. Also, I did 180 for 25 before (5x5, back in 2018) so it doesn't even represent a tonnage PR. But it's in the book now.

My body continues to betray me.
Squat: 320x3
Leg Press (Pin-set): 40x20x3
Now it's the right leg. Upper quad area: Muscle belly, or insertion, or tendon, I can't say for sure. Felt good through 225 on warmups, then my warmup single at 275 was mildly uncomfortable but not alarming. 320x3, pain in the right leg went from about a 3 to about a 7+ during the course of the set, and after racking it the pain didn't go away, though it lessened to a fairly steady 4/10 at rest.
Lacking other ideas, I went to the pin-set leg press and set the seat close enough to the sled that I have to really compress into it, so that if I were squatting I'd be at lower-than-depth but not quite ATG. Picked 80lbs, decided against, set to 40, and did a 3x20. I felt the hurt area on every rep, but the load was doable and hopefully therapeutic.
Plan, unless I hear a better one from Coach, is to do this every day I'm in the gym: Tomorrow, on Upper day, I'll hit some leg press at a 60 (the next pin up from 40 on the machine). Tired of all this mess, and just looking to find something that will force me to heal up.

Press: 192.5x5x4 (V20 PR!)
Myo Bench: 195x15, 11, 6, 4, 4, 3 (43 total reps)
Rx was "same weight, beat last attempt." Beat it by 7.5% (3 reps).
A decent day today. I noticed on press that I'm leaning left, away from my hurt elbow. Another 2 weeks until surgery. If I get a negative COVID test the day before, that is ... here's hoping.
