Squat: 325x5, 255x5x2
Tim is peaking for a deadlift event in 8 days. We're stripping out some volume and tonnage short-term to accommodate, hence the lighter backoffs today.
Press: 145x1x3 (V3 PR)
These singles across are only 2.5lbs off of Tim's lifetime single PR, so I expect press is primed for some good long term growth.
Deadlift: 335x3x2 (V6 PR)
Easy Peasy.

Tim's competing in a deadlift event Saturday. He wants to hit at least 405.
Squat: 330x5 (5PR!)
Started with a very smooth 5PR on the squat; I think he's got several more of these in succession, though we won't squat heavy again until after the comp.
Bench: 230x3x3 (V9 PR!)
These hits keep on comin'.
Deadlift: 355x2x2
4 reps at slightly higher intensity; they came up smoothly. Some singles at 375 on Wednesday and a light warmup on Friday is all that remains.

Press: 130x5x3 (Sets Across PR!)
Deadlift: 375x1x2
Couple heavy(ish) singles to prime for DL event ... which has been moved to Friday now. Tim should have his 405 PR that day I expect, on sheer adrenaline if nothing else.

Deadlift: 405x1, 415x1, 425x1 Login • Instagram
The video was 415; Tim managed to grind out 425 after I had to leave to put the kids to bed. Tim's DL PR went up 40lbs today. There's obviously plenty of thoracic flexion in this rep, and some more in the 425 rep. But now he knows he can pull 4 plates plus, and the LP we're doing on triples will feel mentally easy for a time.

Squat: 335x5 (5PR!), 285x5x2
Even after Friday's tough performance, this came up nicely.
Bench: 232.5x5 (5PR!), 225x5x2, 265x1 (PR!)
Tim got some rest for his bench, and was able to display some strength today. Two PRs and some nice backoff volume.
Deadlift: 340x3x2 (V6 PR!)
After a 425 single on Friday, these triples were nothin'.
Tim was practically walking on air when he left the gym tonight.

Squat (Light): 275x5x2
Press: 132.5x4x3 (V12 PR!)
Nice easy day for Tim, with a sneaky PR in the mix.

Squat: 340x5 (5PR!)
Bench: 237.5x3 (3PR!)
Tim's bushed right now. He finalized moving out of his house and listing it this week, and life mostly has him tied up. We were glad to get these two intensity PRs today. Monday is a new day.

Tim missed Monday for more family stuff.

Tim had a PR triple pretty easy. He's got some rearward drift on reps 2 and 3 I want to address next session, but today I just wanted him to get the damned thing up. I think he's got several more of these coming.
Press: 137.5x3x3 (V9 PR!)
Tim's lifetime best triple was at this weight, earlier in the year. Good to see him hitting it for 9 reps today.
Deadlift: 315x5x2
Got some work in. I think some triples are incoming Friday for a volume PR.

Day 2 of 2 (short week).
Squat: 350x3 (3PR!), 315x3x2
Another top set PR on the squat today. Good times. I think 355 on Monday is a go.
Bench: 237.5x3 (3PR!), 185x8x2
Tim was reporting some pain after his top set and was apprehensive of 225x5x2. Went easy on him but had him bench some 8s.
Deadlift: 345x3x2 (3PR!)(V6 PR!)
So ... Tim's top deadlift triple is actually 5 lbs behind his top squat triple right now. At least, his best *performed* triples. The reality is that Tim's squat triple is about RPE 9 right now, whereas each of these deadlift triples are about RPE 7. Also ... Tim has deadlift singles up to 425. So ... looks a little weird on paper right now, but we'll keep adding to these triples awhile longer.

Day 1 of 2 (another short week).
Squat: 355x3 (3PR!), 315x4x2 Video of top set at Login • Instagram
Planning 360 to close out the week. Next week: More triples, or a move to doubles? We'll see based on Friday.
Press: 142.5x2x3 (2PR!) (V6 PR!)
These progression presses are about to pay off in a bunch of PRs in the coming weeks. This beat his old lifetime best double by 2.5lbs, and he threepeated it.
Bench: 240x3 (3PR!), 205x8, 195x8, 7
Got a new PR triple, then goofed around in bodybuilder range for some bench volume.
Deadlift: 350x3x2 (3PR!) (V6 PR!)
Each of these triples, at this point, is the most weight Tim's ever done for more than one rep. Though we're still 75lbs off of his best single back on Whiskey Deadlift night ... meh. Embracing the process right now.
