    NANM, W3D3 and W3D4

    D3:

    Press, 105x5x3

    Another +10 here.

    Bench: 145x10x3

+10 here. My last sets of 10 maybe?

    21-gun-salute (Barbell curl complex): 50lbsx3

+5. Don't know if I love to hate these, or hate to love them.

    D4

    Squat: 245x5x3

+10, still dropping depth a couple inches past where I absolutely need to for white lights, and that extra ROM is still making my quad tendons/IT band/whatever not hurt.

    Deadlift: 335x3x3

    +20 over last 3x3.

    Bench: 185x5x3

Rx was 165, but this elbow rehab has hit a new level for me so I'm rolling with it.

    NANM, W4D1

    Squat: 255x5x3, 365x1

Sets across still feeling good. The single at 365 is a post-op PR, and moved nicely as well.

    Deadlift: 325x5x2

    Two sets, no probs.

    Press: 110x5x3, 135x5

Sets across were good; took a nickel at 135 just to feel it, and they came up nicely. Gonna keep working the lower loads for sets across as prescribed.

    Bench: 155x10x3, 225x1

    Single felt just fahne.

    Press: 115x5x3, 185x3

Sets across are at a good weight. Triple was more challenging than expected but didn't bother my post-op elbow at all.

Asked coach for an extra squat-only day this week to get more volume in.

    Squat: 275x5x3

Rx was 265; felt froggy so took 275.

    +10

    NANM, W4D5

    Squat: 285x5x3

    +10

    Deadlift: 355x3x3

    +20

    Bench: 205x5, 195x5x2

Rx was 195, but I tried 205. It went okay, but I decided to scale back.

Great to see surgery went well! Gyms are open again here so I'm finally back moving, but delighted to see you making progress again! Keep up the inspirational work.

Glad you're able to get back to it and carry on! Go slow-forward and break old barriers! I'm glad you consider my work inspirational; I'm actually having probably more fun coaching Seth, Cory, and now Dov (all three in the Novice logs section here; except Dov because I'm starting his in a few minutes). Getting strong is valuable to me, but watching young men get strong is quite fulfilling.

    NANM, W4D1 and 2

    D1:

    Bench, 170x8x3

    Press, 130x5x3

    D2:

    Squat, 295x5x3

    Deadlift, 335x5x2

    Press, 135x5x3

All of this is feeling just fahne. Had a real speed boost last week or so, but now I'm trying to embrace the slow process more, rather than immediately crush myself.

Looking great, Geoff. The need for the elbow surgery is unfortunate, but it looks like you are doing great at recovery. I'm with itsssme, looking at logs helps inspire those of us getting back into it. Just about to wrap up week one again. Will post when week 2 is in the books.

Keep at it, and just be careful not to push past that elbow's limit as it recovers!

Adam! Glad to see you back at it. I'll look for your log when you pop in.

    NANM, W4D3

    Bench: 175x8x3

    +5 each; no drama.

    NANM, W4D4

    Squat: 305x5x3

    Deadlift: 365x3x3

    Bench: 205x5x3

    21-gun Salute: 55x3

Squat's moving nicely, deadlift is smooth, and the bench press is (mostly) pain-free.
