    Dalan: Bone spur and tendon calcification. They chopped off the spur, excised the dead tendon, then reattached the tendon. I've been rehabbing it since February now. It hurts intermittently as I rehab, but I've got bench back up to 330 so far, and had a good day today on my own equipment.

    Coach gave me 265x5x4, 20 reps. I gave him 20 reps ... but I saw in my PR Bible that I had an old entry for "best bench set of 11", since I'm a nerd who records everything. So ... I took a set of 11 to bust that old PR.

    Part 1: 20210813

    Army Combat Fitness Test. Score: 494/600


    My first one of these. I'm a bit behind the times I guess. Passed all events. Best event: Deadlift(Trap bar, 340x3, 100% score). My worst: 2 Mile Run (19m 28s). Still a pass. With practice, I think I can max 4 of these events and get up to about 540/600. I think the days of maxing the 2-mile run are behind me, but I can probably cut 2 minutes; definitely can cut 1. The sprint-drag-carry shuttle portion: Got 2m 7s completion; I think I can cut maybe 10 seconds off that but that's probably about it for my old arse.

    Part 2: 20210814

    Light Squat: 315x7, 5


    12 reps; did it in 2 sets.

    Paused Deadlift: 315x5, 4

    9 reps, 2 sets.
