Resumed normal stuff on squat. I'm thinking I'll do 3x3 all week at +5 per, for a total of 27 reps. Bench is feeling better. For now I'm just aiming for two sessions of 24 reps; broke them into 12s this time. Elbow feeling tip-top again. Squat felt heavy today, so I backed off on deads to do a 5 instead of a 3 ... and it was way easy.

1 Mile (3:5 run:walk): 9:54
Planned to do a 3:5 2-mile (45 seconds walk, 75 seconds run), but got sidelined halfway through to talk to a Soldier in some personal distress. Job hazard. Ended up walking the second mile with the Soldier, but turned the timer off.
Gonna miss Friday's lift and hit again on Monday looks like.

Cut 2m16s off my run time by the simple expedient of ratio change from 3:5 to 1:1. Behind on my lifting now.

Neither great nor horrible. I'm pretty okay at 3 events, less so at the other three.
Session 31 (20220627)
10 mile ruck march, 25lbs
Went lightweight. Walk went fine.
My training is all over the place this summer. I kinda knew it would be. My vague plan is "lift MWF, condition TTh" but that's not been working out lately, and will continue to frequently not work out.
I may need to re-think some things to get something sustainable going through this very busy summer.

So, like, bodybuilding BS might be my speed this summer. Dunno if it's age or what but I've never felt this hot in my life, and somehow, doing a bunch of high-heart-rate sweaty stuff ON PURPOSE feels less hellish than, say, high-heart-rate sweaty feelz from a really heavy set of 3.
So ... Tentative plan right now, some bodybuilder nonsense but keeping 1RMs of not less than 365 SQT, 295 BNC, 175 PRS, 425 DLT, and then a solid LP and follow-on Texas Method when the temps start to slip down.

Only time I made it in all week. This took 29 minutes of huffing and puffing. Now ... I've *got* a garage gym, but I'm too much of a p*ssy to use it right now in the hot summer, especially as I'm spending significant portions of each day out in the field with the troops in the heat already. I'm kinda drifting right now, hanging on by my fingernails waiting for work to calm down and the temps to slip a few degrees.
