    3/17/25 Monday
    DL L @ 6' 290x3

Notes — A Monday of Mondays (again). Too many distractions and too many side quests during a morning shift. To top it off, I packed everything but my workout clothes. Punted to Tuesday, violating the concept of this deload week, which is one lift per day.

    3/18/25 Tuesday
    OP L @ 4' 125x3x3
    DL L @ 6' 290x3 295x3

    Notes —
OP - Light Triples across. Smooth and steady, although it felt heavy for 125lbs.
DL - Light Triple. Programmed for 290x3, but I was too lazy to load the small plates, so 295x3 it was. Definitely beat up, as I couldn't even DOH the first rep, even though this a fair bit lighter than when I normally have to start moving through the other grips. Hooked the first two reps just fine, switched to mixed for the last.

    3/20/25 Thursday
    SQ L @ 4' 265x3x3

Notes — Sinus issues have been crap all week. Too much stuff getting stirred up with the normal OK winds. Throw in a day of 70+ mph gusts transporting dust from TX and NM to set thing off even more, followed a couple of days later with a day of 50+ mph gusts stirring everything up again. That was bad enough. Then Wednesday, the smell and lymph nodes told me that something else was going on. Took Wednesday off (my normal recovery day) and Thursday was a tad better but still bad. I stayed away from the clients, which also meant that I needed to stay away from the gym. It wasn't just me. A lot of the clients were throwing in the towel too for similar reasons.

    3/21/25 Friday
    SQ L @ 4' 265x3x3
    BP L @ 3' 200x3x3

Notes — Again, a double day, violating the one lift per day concept. Back to regular programming next week.
SQ - Light Triples across. Focused on depth and staying tight out of the hole. All good.
BP - Light Triples across. Smooth and steady. All good.

I seen one of those dust storms on the news. You don't want to be caught out in one of those. New Mexico I think it was.

And you know what they say about best laid plans. Things will come around hopefully sooner rather than later.

No joke, Fred. Granted, here in central OK, it wasn't as bad as those source regions of NM and west TX. I think the airport got down to about 4 miles visibility, which isn't horrible. But you could certainly feel it in the eyes.

It was nothing compared to the ones that we experienced during our taxpayer-funded summer vacations to Iraq. Closer, but still worse, than what you saw in the video of NM. Even at high noon, we would have to feel our way from tent to tent, vehicle to vehicle. It really felt like we were living on Mars, since the dust coming in from Syria was so red. Those were my chronic cardio days, so Saturday night long runs (20-25 miles) would have to be done in the gym on the dreadmill. I sure as hell don't miss any of it.

Plugging along, learning on the way.

    Keep at it!
