    - SQ - Heavy Singles. First time cutting down the warmup reps/sets, culling several of the lighter weights and making bigger jumps up to two plates, like Phil Meggers explains here; I've been using his "plates and quarters" method that he explains in that video for a couple of years now, which does make warmup calculations a lot easier. Each single was quite heavy out of the hooks, which took a moment to stabilize before descending, then a somewhat slow, grindy rise out of the hole, but not enough for me to doubt the following rep. All good.
    - PC - Heavy triples across. A pleasant experience, as this afternoon I removed my winter beard which had extended below my collar bones, so I wasn't catching and pulling it under the bar during the rack. All good.

Do it, Fred! Just not too quick.

Yep, the rep PRs keep rolling as all of the lifts keep moving upward. I'm just not marking them as Rep PRs this year, unless something significant happens. So today's 247.5x1x5 is a 5x1 PR, and it's only 7.5lbs shy of my 255x1 all-time PR that I set during my mock meet last December. Once I pass that (4 cycles), I'll make sure to mark it. Same with the squat. I'm 4 cycles shy of beating my 390x1 PR set during that same time. I'll mark that too. Those should be around the end of July or beginning of August. I haven't mapped out the program that far yet.

    Keep at it!

    - RP - Heavy set. Smooth and steady. Kinda ridiculous, actually, when I look at that number. I do wonder if that's a function of the relatively low volume overall during this Intensity Singles week for all of the other lifts.
    - SQ - Light sets across. All good.

    Notes —
    - SQ - Heavy sets across. All good. Smooth, yet grindy. Going into this, I was already in my head starting yesterday. A combination of the number (for whatever reason) and last cycle's 335x5x4 issue (where the right quad popped audibly during the last set). But I just got out and did it, even having my bride check depth during my last set, with a questionable rep, but the last two (the most important two) were good.
    - PC - Heavy sets across. Some good, some ugly, but all done.
