135x3 p
185x1 p
225x1 p
265x1 p

Chins — 6, 5, 5.
Music — Deftones, Elite; Godsmack, Voodoo; Primus, DMV; Rammstein, Sonne; Linkin Park, Bleed It Out.
Notes —
- SQ - Heavy Day Singles. Other than the 315x1x5 on 7/1/22 (which felt great), I haven't been in this territory for a looooooooong time, since 1/29/22 with a 320x5 + 300x5x2. Prior to that, 320x5x3 on 6/1/21, so over a year ago. During that intervening time, I've been keeping my squats artificially low while I drove my deadlift/rack pull up, since the normal volume on a HLM program beats me up once both are above three plates. But on this 4-Day Heavy/Light split, as the Intensity gets intense, the Volume drops significantly, so I'm going to run these up for a while. And to keep these in perspective, this 330x1x5 weight is just 5lbs less than my Mock Meet 2021 max single of 335lbs on 12/17/21 (300/315/335), so not only am I tickling a PR for this lift, it's a fair bit more work than a single. All good.
- Chins - Just chins. Nothing to note.

Thanks Mr B! It's amazing what a little bit of consistency can do in just a few weeks time.

that's the kicker, ain't it? man at times it's hard to get a rhythm of more than a couple weeks going.

Ain't that the truth?!?! Even when I have it all mapped out.

Music — Rage Against The Machine vs Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force, Renegades of Funk; Nine Inch Nails, Head Like A Hole; System Of A Down, Toxicity.
Notes — Shit day. As I sat in the office babysitting an automated machine (that does need some augmentation), my bride was across the country laying her father to rest. It wasn't an unexpected passing, just not expected right when it happened. At just the right time where there wasn't any alternate coverage for the shop so I could be there for her. So my mind was elsewhere during this workout.
- BP - Heavy Singles. That extra warmup rep @ 150 was indicative of where my head was at; instead of adding 30, I added 15 and did it before I realized the misload. But I needed that 165 before jumping to 200, so I did it anyway, and that 165 felt like a ton (again, the brain was elsewhere). Regardless, the work singles went fine, although they were a bit wonky as my mind would wander even during the 20 seconds it took to set up, unrack, and press. But they got done. The last time I was in this territory was 4/17/22, with 227x1x5.
- OP - Light Day. Although it wasn't feeling too light, but still manageable. Good for working on the new cues (Explode/Break). All good.

sorry for your loss, Bill. My father-in-law is 93, so we fear every time the phone rings.

Thanks, Mr B.
We weren't there yet. My brother-in-law called and I immediately started cracking wise, then heard his voice.
