    Nice PR!

Music — The Ramones, Do You Remember Rock N' Roll Radio?; Private Instigators, It Happened Last Night; Buzzcocks, Why Can't I Touch It?; Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Do You Wanna Touch Me? [my first concert ever. Great documentary on Amazon Prime right now about her story. I thought I knew my music history, but several nuggets still blew my mind]; The Runaways, Cherry Bomb; Fugazi, Waiting Room; Meatmen vs The Pagans, What's This Sh*t Called Love?; Blondie, Eat To The Beat; Dead Kennedys, MTV Get Off The Air.

Notes — Shoveled tons and tons of snow yesterday. We received 8-10" total on the driveway that got progressively heavier through the day as temperatures warmed. So it wasn't the normal Wednesday recovery day.
    - CGBP - Heavy Triples. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been widening my grip. Today was out to my normal width (pinkies touching the rings), the first time in 2.5+ months. If you'll recall, I had a tweak in my left shoulder at the end of August. During a training session, SSC Phoebe at Starting Strength OKC told me to go close grip and let it heal. It has, save the occasional tweak or pop, but no pain. So wider I have been going, just to test it out. All good.
    - OP - Light day. All good.

I'll do what I can, Fred, but the training season is closing quickly. We're getting too much good snow to let it go to waste. It's time to get snowboarding for the season, lifting just enough to maintain or minimize the losses until next spring.

Music — Peter Murphy, Marlene Dietrich's Favourite Poem; Public Image Ltd, Public Image; The Sisters Of Mercy, Long Train; Xmal Deutschland, Mondlicht; Skinny Puppy, Fascist Jock Itch; The Cure, The Blood.

Notes — Tomorrow's programmed workout, but done today since I won't have much time tomorrow.
    - OP - Heavy Triples. I'd like to say that all were smooth, but the last rep of the first set was a bit forward, so I had to step forward to save it, which I did. That prompted focus on elbow position before each rep for the rest of the sets (something I should have been doing anyway). The very last rep slowed above my head and it was a long road to lockout, but it got done. There was no way that I was going to let it stall, since this finally cleared the old 4x3 PR off the books, set on 8/29/22, the day that I woke up from my post-workout nap and then my left shoulder started acting up. It has been a long three months to get back here.
    - CGBP - Light day. Not-so-close during the warmups, with the pinky on the ring, and I could feel my left shoulder more than I wanted to, so for the worksets, I picked a slightly narrower grip, but not full close-grip, and I never noticed the shoulder again. It may just now be my normal grip width from here on out. All good.

    Notes
    - DL - Heavy Triples. Warmups were rough as the lower back was talking to me quite a bit after the shoveling of ~5" of snow total last evening and this morning (more on the way tonight). Yet the 335x1 warmup cruised up nicely, putting any concerns to rest. Both worksets went well.
    - SQ - Light day. The first set was rough, with the lower back talking during the lockout of each rep. The rest went fine. All good.
