Congrats on your lifts Bill as your all weights continue to soar! All those big plates look pretty cool on those rack pulls.

Thanks Fred. It does look crazy. The stretch goal this year is to add another plate to it, but I'm not letting chasing that get in the way of everything else. Plus, I couldn't possibly do that with my bumper plates out on the end, could I? I would have to get a matching pair of 45s, right? And how would I sell that to my bride?

Music — Rik L Rik, The Outback; Agent Orange, Mr Moto; The Bangs, Bitchen Summer (Speedway) (band renamed The Bangles soon after); Frank Sinatra, New York, New York; The Germs, What We Do Is Secret/Media Blitz; Dead Kennedys vs Elvis Presley, Viva Las Vegas.
Notes — Another trail crew day scheduled this week, so I'm shifting workouts to get them in. This was to be Monday's workout. I am still beat from last week's total volume and Friday's trail crew session; I really want to spend the rest of the day on the couch, but I will get this done.
- OP - Heavy Triples across. First set was rough, second set was smooth, third and fourth sets were downright explosive. No idea where that came from, but I'll take it!
- BP - Light sets across. All good.

If it's not Bauhaus, it's at least one of the many Bauhaus offshoots that is in regular rotation in this house. So much talent in that group.

Music — Necrophobic vs Slayer, Die By The Sword; Carnifex vs Slayer, Angel Of Death; Vader vs Slayer, Raining Blood; Battlecross vs Slayer, War Ensemble; Pro-Pain vs Slayer, South Of Heaven; Slayer vs Black Sabbath, Hand Of Doom.
Notes — The coasts have flopped, that's for sure. East has been dealing with the smoke while we're smacked with 24hrs of rain and brutal humidity. If this was a three-lift workout like HLM, it would be a 2-shirt day. Before noon. There's a reason why I prefer this side of the hills.
- HDL - Heavy set. Smooth. Steady. Brutal (nothing like having to grab the rack and hold on once the set is done). All good.
- SQ - Light sets across. All good.

OMG, New York Dolls. Never heard of them until I was listening to Mexican Morrissey on Independent FM and he mentioned that they were one of Morrissey's favorite bands.
Tonight's listen, that's for sure.
