    Bench 240x3x2
    Press 135x5x5
    Pulldowns 175x10x3

    Forgot to weigh in this morning, yet again. The bench triples felt hard, but doable. Press volume felt like much less of a struggle than it did last week. We'll see how the triples go thursday, but it's looking like I'm probably not in a stubborn recovery deficit from my foolhardy 5 pound jump week.

    Pulldowns got hard on the last set. Still might have a bit more mileage on the 10s, though.

    Weigh-In: 290 pounds

    Box Squat 230x5x3
    Deadlift 315x5x3

    All peachy today. I think I'll stick with offloaded deadlifts for pulling volume from now on. I'll go in wednesdays as a sort of light day to practice power cleans and maybe even try to teach myself power snatches.

    What's off loaded mean?

    Wednesday 7/21/2021

    Power Clean 135x3x4
    Power Snatch 105x3x3

    Since I'm axing cleans as a volume pull, I'm going ahead and throwing in a light "olympic day" on wednesdays. First time snatching. Probably doing a lot wrong, but I was able to rack that 105 overhead. I've been examining my clean technique and I'm working on extending in the legs and preserving more of the back angle for the second pull, seems to work out well.

    Press 160x3x2
    Bench 207.5x5x5
    Pulldowns 177.5x10x3

    Press was tough, end of both sets was pretty slow and grindy. I think I'll err on the safe side and move these to singles for next week.

    Bench was fine.

    Pulldowns got really hard at the end, 4x8 next time.

    Deadlift 390x5
    Box Squat 235x5x3

    Indisputable deadlift PR today. Lift felt kinda iffy on the last rep, but I'm told it was only "kind of" iffy by my partner, so I'll take a stab at 395 next week. I think I'll go ahead and slap the belt on the box squats next week.

    Press 137.5x5x5
    Pulldowns 180x8x4

    Presses got hard today. Maybe my bar path is creeping away from ideal, I dunno. Gotta focus back on my personal cue for getting it right. Also, I ate kinda light the past few days, time to redouble my efforts to carb up.

    Bench was hard, but okay.

    Pulldowns were fine. I do hate that the machine that I get the most stretch out of at the start is always in use.

    The box squats are getting pretty draining. Don't know how much more I'm gonna be able to get out of them like this.

    Deadlifts were rough after those box squats, but I got through them alright.
