    Squat 240x5x3
    Deadlift 360x5
    Pulldown 162.5x10x3

Squatted with the belt today. Went pretty well. Hard, but didn't get hung up much. I went ahead with a 10 pound jump on my deadlift today, and managed it, but grind was setting in on the last rep or two. I think deadlifting twice a week on this schedule might be causing issues. I'm going to go ahead and start doing power cleans on Tuesday I think. I'll check through my old logs to see what my deadlifting schedule was like when I was pulling around this weight in the past.

    Weigh-in: 278.5

    Bench 195x5x3
    Press 120x5x3
    Rower 30 second intervals/30 seconds rest x3

Bench and press still not grinding up, hopefully this will continue. Maybe dial back the eating a bit this week.

    Squat 245x5x3
    Power Clean 115x3x4
    Pulldown 165x10x3

Felt a tiny sting of patellar tendonitis on the squats. I'm going to go ahead and just begin instituting a light day for squats on friday. Wasn't really close to a limit set, but I am worried about that tendonitis creeping back in if I push too hard. Didn't do a full 5 sets of cleans to save time. I will probably be doing 3 once they start to get a bit heavier. I'm not much good at them, but they do seem to work well as a light day pull.

    Bench 200x5x3
    Press 125x5x3
    Bike 30 second intervals/30 seconds restx3, intensity 25 (max)

Tried out the gym closer to me today for my upper body work. It's all hex plates and crappy bars with wrong markings there, so I took measuring tape to guesstimate where my grips should be. Wouldn't come here for lower body day, obviously. But being like 5 minutes from my house is very convenient. I think my bench grip ended up a tiny bit narrower than I usually go with, but it actually worked out pretty well. Press had a whiff of grind toward the end there, but I think I might have just fucked the pathing up a bit. There were two rowers at this location, sadly both were fucking busted. Ended up jumping on a bike instead and trying that at the highest level. Probably could've stood to lower it a bit, I was pedaling pretty slow. I'll play around with it for future workouts, conditioning is hardly a main focus. I just like having the extra conditioning work for my legs on days I don't squat, it seems to help me bounce back between squat sets better.

    Squat 200x5x3
    Deadlift 355x5
    Pulldown 167.5x10x3

Light squat today. Tried doing them without the sleeves. I also tried doing them fairly fast out of the bottom, and that left patellar tendon got rather achey. Deadlift was peachy. Pulldowns getting a little hard but no grind yet.

    Weigh-in 277.6 pounds

    Bench 205x5x3
    Press 130x5x3
    Bike 30 second intervals/30 seconds rest x3, 16/25 intensity

Bench still felt solid, no real hangups. Press felt like I only had one more left on the last set though. Bike was shitty, but I always hate leg focused cardio. I guess this format really does leave the press a little under what it could be. But that's okay, I'll focus more on getting my bench work weight back to 225 than nailing the 135 press again. I'll get there.

    Squat 250x5x3
    Power Clean 125x3x4
    Pulldown 170x10x3

Squats went pretty damn well. The knee didn't give me aggravation. A little bit of pop and crunch out of the bottom on reps, but nothing hurt. Felt like I could've done more reps even on the final set. Power cleans still well under my personal best, so they went up easy. Suprisingly, the pulldowns also were very smooth today. Last week's 167.5 got a little grindy toward the end but today was pretty perfect. I'm starting to wonder if the bars for the pulldown machines are all marked the same. Might be time to bring the measuring tape on friday and find out. Overall, the knee is doing okay, despite the pops. Tossing in a light squatting day this early on was probably the right call.

Slashed 15% off the lifts to make an impromptu light day, since I had my "agility" test for work sprung on me for tomorrow. Mainly I want to be able to belt out a good number of pushups, and I figured going hard on the pressing movements was gonna keep me from doing my best.

Good luck on your agility test tomorrow. I'd been wondering if I had missed it.

They kept me waiting for a long time, and then finally got to me a week ago that it was today.
