Well, that's great news all around. Even the scopes in January, especially if they help identify any unseen issues.
I hear you on the other activities, especially the kid-related ones. I'm winding down my year of training this week as the snow is finally starting to fly and I'll begin snowboarding in earnest (an inland proxy for the surfing I did in earlier decades), so soon it will be 4+ months of maintenance. But the first couple of weeks will also be focused on recovering cardiovascular endurance.

Tweaking the program to try to stay within the allocated 1.5 hours I have for training. Shifting the pulls back by a day so recovery pulls are on squat volume days, intensity pulls are on squat recovery days, and volume pulls are on squat intensity days.

Day 14 of GTM - Friday, January 7, 2022

Deadlift (I): 285x5; 5 minute rest
Missed the first attempt at 137.5 on the press. Rested 3 minutes and got it. After the deadlift, I thought I would try 140, since that what I had programmed to attempt this week and I had additional time on the clock. Didn't come close. I am dealing with a cold so that may have contributed. Better luck in two weeks!
