My wife and I are taking the kids to Legoland this weekend for my son's 7th birthday, including an overnight stay at one of the Legoland hotels. Our house is only a few miles away, but we could all use a mini-vacation and given the forecast of 80 degree temps, the hotel pool is sounding very nice!

The first rep of the final set of cleans was a near miss, but I somehow managed to get under it. I'm sure if I was filming it it would have been ugly to watch. It was one of those instances when I was focusing too much on a single aspect of the lift (in this case, keeping bar contact with my shins during the first pull) and letting the rest of the lift fall to pieces.

Mondays and Fridays have been my training days since late November, but my scopes are scheduled for Friday, so I did Friday's training session today. My lower back was the only thing complaining about having only 48 hrs of recovery since Mondays session, but everything else was fine.

Finally back into PR territory with the deadlift. Hard to lift but never in doubt, unlike the final bench single. I got it but it sure took a long time.

March 1, 2022 Weigh-in: 172.6 lbs, a 1.6 lb decrease from last week. I blame it on Thursday's colonoscopy prep.
