    Squat 325x3x2
    Power Clean 132x3x3
    Pulldown 237.5x5x3

Last rep of both sets of squats felt slow, especially the end of the second one. But I was told it wasn't that slow, so I'm gonna move up to 330 next week. Consciously tried to get a little better at dropping down to catch the cleans, that worked out well. Pulldowns failed to touch the chest with the bar on the final two reps, so I'm going to cycle back to 12s next week, using 2.5 pounds higher than the last time I did 12s.

    Press 165x2x3
    Bench 215x5x5

Another great workout. Last set of press felt a bit of slowdown to it, but I still think I can do doubles again next week. Bench got hard at the end, but no slow grinder reps.

    Deadlift 415x3
    Squat 260x5x4

Tried another gym today, this one I THINK had AC going (it was at least cooler than outside), but still had some overheating issues during the squats. Probably need to space the rests out longer to like 7 minutes, was doing 6.

    Press 140x5x5

Last bench rep was a grinder, so I'm gonna go ahead and move to singles for next week. I think 140 is a 5x5 PR for me on the press. Felt really fucking good today for some reason. Started a new job and worked all day sitting in the heat. I should've felt like shit, but I didn't.

    Weigh-in: 296.6

    Squat 330x3x2
    Power Clean 135x3x3
    Pulldown 162.5x12x3

Forgot to weigh in Monday morning, new job.

Going to doubles on the squat next week. I might have one more jump in me with triples but I don't like to take risks with the squat because hard grinds tend to really fuck me up. Power cleans were fine. Pullsodnws with 12s was a different sort of work jumping to that from 5s, but I was able to touch down on the chest with every rep of every set. Might be able to get these to 170 before I drop down to 10s again. I don't know why my squat doesn't seem to perform with this programming like my upper body stuff does.

    Press 166x2x3
    Bench 217.5x5x5

Probably wasn't 100% today with only one day between upper body workouts, but scheduling demanded I clear out thursday after work. Anyway, last press set was pretty slow and grindy. I've been moving along the press and the bench intensity days at roughly the same pace, guess I won't be breaking that trend. Singles next week. If I'm doing this prematurely, then I guess I'll be able to run out singles for quite a while. Bench was tough but felt like a good workout. Consciously tried to maintain external rotation of the humerus instead of letting the elbows just flare out halfway up. I think it's giving me a stronger (and safer) bench as well as getting my triceps more involved.

    Deadlift 420x3
    Squat 265x5x4

Deadlift was a slow grind on the last rep. I might be able to sustain another jump or two but like the squat, I don't want to incur the penalties of running it right up to total failure.

Singles on bench started off smooth, got slower as time went on. Probably not a slow ass grind though, just a little sticky. Starting to get the matrix effect from these heavier bench presses though, where the perception of time slows down during the lift, like I get from squats and deadlifts.

    Squat 335x2x3
    Power Clean 137x3x3
    Pulldown 165x12x3

Haaard squats. I'm going to go ahead and do doubles again next week though. Power cleans I think I should've reset. It's hard to move my legs fast and make the catch when they are so smashed from squatting. Pulldowns were hard, but I still made it to the chest on all the reps. 12s are a weird and different kind of strain, you start to feel that lactic acid "burn" you get from endurance stuff. Maybe I'll make it to 170 before having to bring these down to 10s.

    Bench 210x5x5

Same deal as the bench singles with the press singles. First two felt like I could have done as doubles, but after that it got progressively grindier.
