Apparently some twatnipples complained to the managers that I was dropping the weights. I do olympic weightlifting. I have no choice. I had been doing this for many months now and it was never an issue.

I explained to them that that is precisely what their equipment was for (platform and bumper plates) and that that was the sole reason I joined in the first plaece.

Well I was told to find a new gym.

What are some good olympic weightlifting friendly gyms in NYC?

How much are you willing to pay, do you want coaching, and where in the city are you?

Could go to Olympic Weightlifting in New York City | Lost Battalion Hall

Plenty of SSCoaches in the city SSCA : Coaching , with some of the gyms offering Olympic lifting classes

Open up Google. Mangle the keyboard so that "Olympic lifting NYC" appears. Hit enter.

Why don't you just go where Wolf teaches?

And I'll say this - back in the 50s, the rules for the lifts prohibited dropping the weights. Those guys lifted a fuck ton, and caught the weights every time. If they can do it, so can you.

Grow a pair, catch the weights, and don't be an asshole. If you MUST drop the weights, simply find a gym (use the google machine) where you can do this. Or buy some property where you can build a decent gym. This isn't a difficult obstacle.
