I want to reiterate that "dizziness" is a complaint, not a diagnosis, and encompasses a multitude of sins. As an ER physician, just about the last thing I wanted to see on my list was a 60+ yo with a chief complaint of "dizzy." It's a rabbit hole, and it was always a Big Workup.
Most of the time it's benign. Nothing is found. Be dizzy and keep training.
Every now and then it's not benign, and then you're glad you got it checked out.
