I was squatting today and felt a sharp pain in my knee after the first rep of my top set. Immediately after I racked the bar and my knee hurt like crazy. I can not bend my knee at all without extreme pain (except in a few weird positions). I can still walk on it but must keep the leg rigid to avoid pain. This is on my left knee and the pain feels like it is coming from the outside of the knee. I was hoping anyone could give an opinion on what I did to myself and possibly some advice to rehab it if you have had similar experience. Last time I had an injury I just took rip's advice of working through the pain to stimulate recovery, but I don't think I can do that now since I can not even bend the knee.
