    Hi!

I’m getting a weird burning/stinging pain in my right arm (mid triceps) when I’m high bar back squatting. It begins when I unrack and intensifies slightly as I descend.

Squatting 155kg, if it’s relevant. I feel like obviously a nerve is being squeezed somewhere, but wondering what/where/why?

    Thanks in advance!

It may come as a big surprise, but I cannot even begin to ascertain what could potentially be going on with you despite your egregiously detailed report of the issue.

Im not sure what other information I can provide thats relevant.

The sensation Im feeling comes on as soon as my back/deltoids are under load from the bar. I dont know how else to describe it other than a burning/stinging pain - when it first happened I thought there was a tree branch or something poking me initially (I have an outdoor power rack), though it intensified from that initial feeling.

When Ive been at rest over the past few days I can also feel a VERY mild tingling occasionally (every few hours) in my triceps where the pain occurred, but other than that no other symptoms when not working out.

Happy to provide other details if necessary.
