Pec strain from bench press
So, two days ago I felt a severe disconfort in my right pec while bench pressing. I was supposed to do 265x5x3 but felt a strain on the third rep of the first set while lowering the bar. I'm not sure if I tilted the bar to the right and got the injure or if the injure caused me to tilt the bar...Anyhow, I had the spotter take the bar to avoid further injure.
At first I though it could be a tear, but the muscle shape and colour are normal, so probably not a tendom or muscle belly tear. I feel the pain on the muscle belly, about one inch from the insertion.
After bench I did power cleans with no problem, and some light lat pull-downs (skipped chins).
Today I did front squats (no pain), press (some disconfort), and deadlifts (no pain).
My right biceps is somewhat sore and I started feeling a bit of anterior shoulder pain (not usual for me...). Overall it's feeling better, but it still bothers me and I'm not sure what happened... Any thoughs?
