Hello all, I recently saw a DR about an intense ear infection I have from a sinus infection. About 2 hours after seeing the DR I believe my eardrum burst, I heard popping noises followed by a loud ringing that hasn’t gone away (36 hrs and counting), a pink discharge has been draining from the infected ear as well. Can I keep training heavy, or do I need to take a small layoff? I use a mouth guard while lifting, do I need to discontinue this temporarily while performing the valsalva? DR gave me amoxicillin. Male, 35 years, 5’7”, 210 lbs.

You need to see an ear/nose/throat specialist (otolaryngologist) RIGHT NOW. Do what he tells you.
