Default Shoulder pain following lat tear

    Hi everyone,

I recently started having shoulder pain in my right shoulder, mostly noticeable when lying down on my right side.

I figured it would pass and so continued to train but the pain seems to be getting worse especially following days of pressing, especially doing any kind of front raise movement even with no weight now.

Since I don't recall any event causing the shoulder pain I thought it might have something to do with a recent lat tear. This was a few months ago, also on the right side but I seemed to rehab it just fine with the Bill Starr Protocol (also thanks to this forum).

I'm not sure what to do, any help would be highly appreciated.

I recently injured my lat while deadlifting and found this post from Matt Reynolds helpful:

    deadlift injury

I could barely hang from the pullup bar and couldn't deadlift 90lb. I followed Matt's advice and even though I can still feel it from time to time it doesn't prevent me from proceeding with my lifts.
