Well, it looks like those 1980"s and 90's bodybuilding workouts I saw in the magazines in my teens and twenties have really caught up with me. Doing all those stupid flies and pec dec exercises back then has my shoulders hurting like hell. My front delts hurt whenever I do OHP or bench presses.

When I started SS about a year ago the pain seemed to have disappeared. I was able to get my OHP up to 170 lbs. and bench press to 250 lbs. after years of barely being able to do either.

Now the pain has returned and I can only OHP about 130 lbs and bench 185 lbs.

I need some advice about how to deal with this.

Are some variations of OHP and bench press I can do for now and hopefully my shoulders will get better?

Are there some other exercises I can do to help my shoulders?

Both sides hurt? Have you lost bodyweight recently? Age/height/weight?

Both sides hurt. The right shoulder hurts more.

    I'm 5'6" and currently weighing 197lbs. 52 years old.

I got up to 210 lbs when I was able to bench and ohp more a few months ago.

Even doing push-ups hurts now which had never happened before.

I've been traveling a lot lately so I haven't been able to train and eat like I want to.

Yeah, I figured it might be time for that. Thanks for your advice.

I'll let you know the results.
