I am 25 years old and I am recovering from a torn meniscus in my left knee. (Injury sustained while doing Jiu Jitsu) I had the meniscus trimmed away and so far I am doing well. I also have dealt with quad tendonitis in my right knee for a while now. Getting back to doing squats has been difficult for me for the past couple weeks. Are box squats a good option for me or should I start with a light comfortable weight regular squat and work my way back up?

Box squats are essential, as is correcting your back and shin angle to produce the most hip dominant/vertical shin you can at the bottom. The box allows you to practice this.
