That's probably what it is. Post a video.
A few weeks ago the day after squatting I woke up with swelling and pain in where my right vastus medialus connects to the patella. There was no obvious injury or pain during the actual squats. Once I'm up and moving at work the pain drops to almost non existent but by the end of my hour long commute it's in considerable pain and very stiff from being bent. I've continued training and there is some weakness at the bottom of the squat. If it is quad tendonitis I'm familiar with rips recommendations just making sure I'm diagnosing this accurately.

Are the recommendations for this the same as recommendation for general knee tendonitis? i.e. box squats
What kind of video do you want to see? I'm fairly certain I have an issue with my quadricep tendon. It doesn't keep me from squatting but does keep me from running, jumping, etc with confidence. It came out of nowhere a couple of months into my current run at an LP. Maybe not coincidentally, I stupidly tried to work in 30 minute rowing sessions on my days off for about a month before I realized it was killing my training. Don't ask me why I had forgotten that I wasn't supposed to do that.
