Shoulder pain during bench
Hey everyone,
I am having right shoulder pain during the bench even at very light weights (135lbs) and I can not do the exercise with heavier weights due to the pain. The shoulder pain happens only during the bench, I train all other exercises normaly. I used to have a strong bench, I did 315 lbs for 5 reps. I believe things changed after I got my hernia surgery, the stretched position during the bench was uncomfortable on my belly for a few weeks after surgery. I still progressed the bench and hit 255lbs for 5, then the shoulder pain came out of nowhere. I have had the pain for three weeks now and could only train my ohp. I am wondering if there is some way to rehab my shoulder. I would appreciate any help.
I am a 24 year old male, 6 feet 3", 265 lbs. Number at the moment for five reps: squat 315 lbs, deadlift 375 lbs, ohp 160 lbs, power clean 155 lbs.
