Extending that logic seems to suggest that there is a theoritical benefit in performing full squat cleans at heavier weights than the power-cleans, and indeed, in clean pulls at heavier weights than the squat cleans. Am I correct?

How far do you pull the bar in a full clean? Shorter ROM than a PC, right? Hi-pulls too. This is necessary for an Olympic lifter, but we use the power clean here for general strength training purposes.

is it OK to do both Power Cleans and Power Snatches on SS? This is something that's been at the back of my mind for a while.

how would you go about using them both? clean/snatch/clean/snatch/clean or do them on different days?

If you wanted to use them both, it would seem logical to alternate them on your power-X day. But I believe I have said before that I like cleans better for novices because they allow more weight to be handled.
