Any idea about when the book will be done? 2010? 2011?

Thanks for the email Rip. I'm especially looking forward to the BB Posing 101 chapter.

The Posing chapter info should not have been in the e-mail.

Rip, I just viewed the Power Snatching video and would like to clarify something.

About the hand positioning on the bar you say 1 finger width from the sleeve. As a guy with a smaller frame, do I adjust the spacing.

I have a 22" Shoulder width and the power snatching I have been doing thus far has been with about 1/2-3/4 of a hand width from the sleeves.

Should I go wider or is my current grip correct?

The video he's referring to is here: http://startingstrength.com/index.ph..._power_snatch/

As I explain in the video, your grip should place the bar between your pubis and your hip pointers. So, if you have shorter arms, that would make your grip necessarily narrower. Please tell me that you understand that things get adjusted for individual variations in size and anthropometry.

I've taken to doing them on light day in a Texas Method program, with power cleans on volume day and heavy deadlifts on intensity day. Less weight can be handled than with a power clean, so it's not nearly as stressful. I do four doubles. It is goddamned fun as hell.
