I feel hobbled having just watched that video.

Of course there are excellent coaches in CF. But they seem to be in a dwindling minority. That video was not from a gym. It was from the SoCal sectionals. I have two clips from that event, and neither one shows even an attempt to get a tired back into extension. This has become the norm, I'm afraid, and it is justified by the work/time excuse. You know this to be true, and I'll bet you don't like it either.

    Compare this to BCS.
Why have you hidden this gem from us?!

Apparently I've been doing it wrong all my life!

Seriously though, this guy has to know it's poor form. He has to know that his vertebrae does not appreciate the punishment, right?

    Right, Rip!?

No, I don't think he thinks so. It's all about the time. Faster is better, faster is more "power". It's a light weight, after all.

It is a sad thing. The whole crossfit concept seems good, it's probably better than the useless stuff what people do in the gym but if people are to lift like that, I take useless over unsafe anytime.

Rip, can you please post the second clip? You have piqued my curiosity.

There is no point. Looks the same, just one guy with a round lumbar spine instead of many.
