Couple of questions
Hi coach,
I have 2 main questions regarding lifting, currently doing the SS program and having a great time so far, thank you for writing the book.
1. I have broken my big toe on the right foot, I am able to stand up on both feet without any assistance, although walking is painful, obviously power cleans are out, do you think its still possible to do squats/deadlifts?
If I do stop squatting/lifting while the injury heals, I want to keep working on my bench/press, any assistance exercises you recommend incorporating whilst I await the injury to recover?
2. When I do the press, as I bring the bar back down and it comes down past my nose, I feel a sort of "popping" sensation in my right wrist, it feels like a tendon moving over a bone. My chiropractor confirmed this is what it is, made an adjustment to the tendon, and then it started again a week later, he told me this would keep happening and he could keep readjusting it but that there was nothing I could do about it.
Does this sound like something wrong with my form, and is this something common?
Thanks for your time.

1. You need your big toe for balance. But they heal quickly, so give it a couple of weeks and start back doing as much as you can tolerate.
2. Your chiropractor can only adjust the tendon if the circumferential ligament that holds it in place is ruptured. Look it up. This is why MDs don't like chiropractors, and why they piss me off occasionally too.
