Other than being about 3 inches too deep, they are very good.

A little advice. You should consider lowering the rack to the next position. It's too high.

You should be able to walk right in and hit the back of the hooks without having to stretch for it. This will become very important when the weight gets really heavy. You're risking a wreck now if you miss one of the hooks.

Is that the first time we have heard Rip say someone is squatting too deep ????

Genuine question, though - if you are not competing, what is the down side of squatting "too deep", provided you don't bounce your hamstrings and calves together?

It's too deep if depth is attained at the expense of keeping lumbar extension. A couple of the trainees in his DVD have squats that are "too deep" if I remember correctly.

I heard all about too deep this weekend. Take a seminar and you can too!

All kidding aside, best money I've ever spent on any type of instruction.

Gotta love this board. Wonder if that's why my own squat has gotten less stable since I started going "real deep"? I'd better go and look at the DVD again. And vid myself again.

    Thanks!
