    Default Squatting after surgery

I had re-constructive ACL surgery around this time of year in '09. I rehabbed it; though not to the extent I should have. I am wanting to begin the Starting Strength workout and am curious about squatting. I have full range of motion in my knee and will always work out with my knee brace, but starting with heavy weight is scary to me. I have not done any weighted squats since my surgery (have done bodyweight squats). Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Quit being a pussy. That is my suggestion. And read the posts on this board regarding this question.

One of my friends had ACL surgery done in March or April of this year (forget when exactly) and he is doing SS with me now just fine. He eased into it, and had to take one day off due to it feeling weird, but that was more because he played basketball for two hours the day before. So I think you'll be fine.
