I started SS back in June of 09. Coming up on the two year anniversary, after transitioning to TM, my stats are as follows:

    Height: 5'10 Age: 26

Then----------------------Now(These are all sets of 5x3, except deadlift, which is 5x1)

    Weight: 140---------------205

    Squat: 90-----------------300

    Deadlift: 100--------------335

    Bench: 45-----------------230

    OHP: 45 ------------------160

    Clean: 45------------------210

In your opinion, am I where I need to be after 2 years of dedicated training? Am I lagging anywhere? Thanks for your time and input.

I'd say it took you twice as long to get this done than it should have. But at least you're an adult male now.

Hi Mark. Thank you for having this forum. I have a follow up question along similar lines.

I'm male, 38, 6'2, 195. Never the greatest athlete, never the worst.
8 weeks in 3x5 work sets of lifts are: DL=255, SQ=185, BP=185, OHP=120, Barbell Row=145 C&J=just starting and trying to learn form.
3x5 BP and OHP are failing about every other workout that they are attempted.
Diet is beginning to come in line with the program.
Programming can sometimes be interrupted by work/family. So I may workout M,Tu,F some weeks-skipping squats on Tue. I have not missed any weeks though.

I am using my 40th birthday as a goal date. What sort of 2 year strength goals would you set or expect for such a case?

    Thanks.

Brian, I'm betting you're not microloading the BP/OHP. Which means...you didn't read the book well enough.
