    There is a hell of a lot of moment force at the proximal end of the fused assembly. I have no recommendation about squatting with a Harrington repair.

    One thing that I would point out is that since there is no motion around the stabilized section spine, there is no way to exercise the spinae erectors in that area. This has implications as Rip pointed out.

    There is a large difference between your standing in my gym and me recommending things on the internet to people I don't know.
