Low Bar Squat Check (Lower Back Soreness)
I want to check with my form and make sure I am doing things correctly.
This is the first work set with 270lbs., after coming back with an injured lower back (from rugby, unrelated to lifting). I still feel a bit of soreness in the lower back, and I want to make sure my form isn't causing that at all.
My apologies for the less-than-optimal angle for filming. It seems to make my stance seem very narrow, but my feet are placed slightly further than shoulder-width and about 45 degrees out.

Thank you in advance for the feedback.

Your form is good. Not capable of causing any problems at all. You hips will drive better if you look down more, but they are pretty good.
-
Your knees come forward a bit in the hole. Other than that, they look pretty good.

Definitely not. These squats will not hurt his back.

Thanks for the responses and the advice, guys!

They look like great squats to me, if I had to try and find one thing it would probably be that it looks like you might be overextending your back a little vs. keeping it neutral, but that's really nit picking. I don't know if that would be enough to hurt your back though.

Perhaps it's just the angle, but aren't you over-extending your back?

Same question as solomson;
Rip, would you qualify this as overextension?
-
First thing I noticed as well, he seems a bit over-extended.
