    Ah. HIT. Well, you'll just have to use perfectly symmetrical form on the bench with the standard novice program, thus forcing the weak/small side to catch up, since it will be the limiting factor.

    Get a spotter. Not a guy who lifts the bar for you, but someone who can tell you if you're lifting with the bar off centre. A video camera is a fair compromise, not enough people check their bench form.

    Lock your shoulders in place. this might not be your issue, but I have a lot of trouble with it, my right shoulder doesn't stay 'down' during the lift and I end up with symptoms like yours.
