I searched the forum as you request and only found a post about a guy who had recovered from his shoulder impingement.

I feel what i would qualify as a sharp pain in my right shoulder (right on my clavicle) when i do incline bench press motions or incline fly motions, forward raises, and to a much lesser extent, OHP.

I have had this shoulder pain on and off for about 4 months now. I have never been an avid bencher, and never been able to bench much weight at all.

My Bench max for 5x3 was about 180, while my OHP max was 132.5

My question basically is, would you with the information available qualify this as a shoulder impingement, and if so, what should i do to rectify the situation asap.

Also, is there a reason why my Bench and OHP seem to be so low? I squat 305 which i know isnt anything to boast about, but it seems like i should be progressing more on the upper body exercises. Could that be due to anthropometric measurements which lead me to be a better squatter?

    Thanks again coach

Pain you identify in the anterior area of your clavicle is not likely to be associated with the rotator cuff. What is your height/bodyweight/age?

You're not very big or very strong. Get that way -- it fixes these types of injuries.

ha yeah i figured as much, I'm on my way, 4 pounds this week.

Is there a reason why my squat seems vastly superior to my bench press?

A 180 bench to a 305 squat is not "vast superiority".
