It's a shame he isn't American.
Hysen Pulaku has been training with Alex Krychev and Abadjiev in Danville, CA. for the Olympics. I guess you could say Hysen is proof the Bulgarian system will work in the Good "ole" USA. Both Rip and myself wrote letters to the dept. of immigration recommending that Abadjiev be allowed to remain in the United States. As a result of the hard work of Alex Krychev and our letters Abadjiev was granted a five year extension to remain in the United States.
Amazingly two years ago Hysen was involved in serious car accident and was lucky to survive.
Good luck Hysen. Check out the clip of Hysen in action below.

Extremely vertical bar path on 166kg snatch. Hysen's shoulders are in front of the bar initiating the pull.
Pretty much the same story at 208kg clean but not so much at 211kg...
What's the name of that software you recommend at seminars for downloading video to be able to go frame by frame?
Awesome f-ing lifts!
Seriously impressive lifting. I will never get over how much weight Pulaku moves while looking as skinny as he does. Just unreal.
Also, the comments section on the video reminds me very much of certain threads on this site.
It's important to read the comments.
...with the condition that you've been lifting for 10+ years?

Great news about Abadjiev.
I find it amazing how the pull from the floor to his knees seems so slow it could almost be a deadlift, and then bang! the bar goes up and he's somehow under it.
I'm also seeing him as a medal contender. I wonder what Lu Xiajun is gonna do this time, I can't wait to see the Chinese openers, did you all see the ridiculous small totals they submitted.

But to be fair and honest the 105 has my total occupation!
