That's been my experience with Johnny Brown for the 40 years I've known him. He's a rare exception in today's world of no return phone calls. Here are two pictures of the revised base assembly.
Rip, I hope you'll allow this post about the racks made by Johnny Brown. I ordered one of the bolt together models from him, which turned out to be the demonstration one at the SS coaches meeting. He took the time to make sure it was in perfect shape and upgraded the base. He also was helpful and patient with the shipping and called to ask if I liked it and if I had any useful feedback. In short, the man provides a great piece of equipment at a can't-beat-the-value price with excellent customer service. He's a stand up guy and a craftsman. I encourage anyone considering buying a power rack to call Johnny.

That rack looks as if it has been wire-brushed all over.
If that is the case, that is going the extra mile and then some.
Does he have a website? I'm moving to a fairly remote area in Washington and will need to assemble a gym in my garage or basement in February.
He doesn't have a website. He somehow manages to do business over the phone. 940 855 1911
what was the latest on the price for these?
