Coach -- Your first franchise location must be Southwest Austin. There are plenty of vacant warehouses and still lots of empty land should you want to build SAWFAC from the ground up. You can reap all the benefits of Brooklyn (big piles of hipster cash) with none of the drawbacks (deadlifts are not illegal in ATX).

Fuck Southwest Austin. That was so 2012. Head a little north to wilco. We're not as cool and less concerned about how we look in the mirror. Work harder and most have money, but spend it wisely...

I wouldn't open a business in Travis County.

Yeah, I view south Austin as everything that is wrong about Austin. Just gotten way too hipster/yuppie for its own good. Reminds me of what Southern California has become

Also the ridiculous requirement for a permit that can cost $10,000 to show the government that you're not secretly using the gym as a front to charge people money for handjobs.

If someone opened a Black Iron gym in Brooklyn, it would require all of the staff to maintain a handlebar moustaches like old timey strongmen, and it would have a selection of craft beers to go with each lift.

This barely scratches the surface of what the madhouse Ћє Pєορlє'ς ЯaϊnЬoш ЯєρuЬlϊcж of Кalϊғornϊa has become.

And yet, there you remain, as if you are helpless.
