    I still love introducing people to The Great Escape.

    Nothing like showing someone a 3 hour movie, and watching them restart it as soon as it finishes.

    I like Death Wish and especially Rolling Thunder, best revenge film in history. I think the guys on this thread out to look up the resume of director Walter Hill; he and Pekinpah.

    Depends. Does Aliens count as an action movie, or sci fi?
