If you haven't seen it yet, Brawl in Cell Block 99 was phenomenal.

My wife wanted to see Coco this weekend. Its Pixar... the movie itself is not bad... a little predictable... good music, bright colours.

What was strange to me was this 20+ minute 'short' about Disney's Frozen that was played first. It was awful. Extremely disappointing as a replacement for a Pixar opening short.

Watched "It Follows" and also "1922." 1922 was good and It Follows was very good and will require rewatching at some point.

Saw a trailer for "The Twelve" the other day, due out Jan 19. Looks like it may be entertaining...

Saw “Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri” this past weekend. It was very, very well done. Lots of wondering which turn it’s going to take next. Highly recommend.

I watched "Bone Tomahawk" (2015) one of the best westerns in the past 10 years. Would highly recommend.

    Batman v. Superman. Absolutely preposterous.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Easy to watch scifi adventure film. If you enjoyed the Fifth Element, I think your would find this worth watching. It was written and directed by the same writer and director of the Fifth Element and it has a similar feel. I do not think the plot is as strong as the Fifth Element, but it is still entertaining.

    It Follows was GREAT...

Finishing Punisher tonight... depending on how it ends I may actually weep tears of joy that the character of Frank Castle has finally been given the justice he deserves... Jon Bernthal is amazing...
