I have seen someone mention Miles Teller movies but haven't seen anything about Whiplash. Such a damn good movie but I think it is so good due to the performance by JK Simmons.

If you haven't watched it, do it now.

Saw it. Hated it. People do not behave in that way.

I have never seen a Bond movie, nor Rocky.

Watched the first half hour of Creed, should I watch Creed and its sequel and thus break my streak?

You should watch Casino Royale, and the very first Rocky for its historical significance.

My dad took me to see Casino Royale in the theaters, I was probably 8 or 9 at the time. At this point I've probably seen it upwards of 15 times. Fanfuckingtastic.

I just re-watched Excalibur, and what a movie! Boorman expertly balances story, acting, and music to create an impressive take on this classic legend. It gives real insight into the duty that men often find themselves bound to. And it's pretty fucking fun.

Watched it again last week. A very important contribution to the hero-tale genre.

Gotta love Excalibur coming out in the hand of the Lady of the Lake, a hot young Helen Mirren (both of her) in a metal breastplate, and Wagner for the background music. Who could ask for more?

I have yet to see ANY Arthurian Legends based film that can even hold a candle to "Excalibur" It really invokes the tone and mysticism of books like "The Once and Future King" and "Mort de Arthur". This movie is a true classic.

    Hi all,

I have to admit that I think Daniel Craig has been the best Bond; I think he is the closest to the novels' portrayal of Bond as a cold and violent killer. The Brosnan years got a little too ridiculous (Die Another Day) and before that, Moore's Bond was a consistently ridiculous and slightly smug English gentleman pastiche. Dalton's was okay and I don't understand how people can dislike his films ahead of Moonraker...

I rewatched Rogue One this week, which is my favourite film in the entire Star Wars franchise: it shows the sheer misery and sacrifices endured by the ordinary people of the galaxy as the result of a feud between one severely dysfunctional family of space wizards.
