No. I grew up with it, but haven't watched it in ~35 years.

Speaking of growing up with it, was Last Picture Show an accurate reflection of north Texas towns/life back in the 60s?

It was. That is truly an underappreciated film.

Fantastic. It's always fascinating to revisit the past like this. I've always thought about watching this movie, but now that it's been given your tick of approval I will definitely check it out. Thanks.

What’s everyone’s favorite John Wayne film? I always thought he should have won the Oscar for The Searchers (my favorite) or any of the John Ford directed stuff.

Their relationship was one of the best actor/director work to come out of Hollywood.

Honestly I enjoy the tales of John Wayne the actual person more than any of the movies he was in.

“I am Patrick Swayze” was very well done. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I then watched Road House again for the countless time and it was superb as always. It gets better every viewing.

If you like a weirdass, uncomfortable movie that feels like a bad trip on the ‘ole magic mushrooms then go see “Midsommar” while it’s still in the theaters.

Follow it up with Lars Von Trier’s “A house that jack built” if you’re really feelin’ twisted.

I don’t know why i enjoy this shit..

Documentary films are usually special pleadings. Sometimes they plead our position, usually they don't. Moore is really a shameful fucker. Nothing entertaining there.
