We will be screening the classic film The Room tonight at the gym which is like Hitchcock's Vertigo but better.

To bring this back to movies slightly (also relevant to my interests)

How does it rate compared to the punisher movies / in what order would you place them?

    For me:
    1. The Punisher with Tom Jane
    2. Punisher with dolph Lungrin (sp)
    3. Punisher War Zone

My wife wants to watch the Netflix series with me so it's just sitting there right now.

Honestly miles above. I didn't like any of those movies really, although I am a huge fan of the Punisher. Jon Bernthal is synonymous with the Punisher now, in my opinion. His performance is fantastic. The Punisher was the best part of Daredevil Season 2, and this story is interesting enough.

Also great how they handle the issues with the military and veterans.

Yes! Oh, it's so much better, to me, than the movie was. Bernthal is perfect for it. I was hooked the first episode. He hardly even talks in the episode, but it works, you can see everything in his face.

Wife was out of town and I rewatched Carpenter's "The Thing". A stone-cold classic.

One of the best horror films ever made. The recent 2011 prequel is also excellent.

I watched Brotherhood of the Wolf. I think somebody told me about it here. Very interesting, well-done film with an interesting premise. I didn't mind the subtitles at all.

Monica Bellucci, who's always easy to watch, would have helped ease that pain :-)
