Just watched Blue Velvet for the first time. This damn thing may be one of the weirdest movies I've ever watched, and it's so weird that it's obvious that Lynch was just trying to make it weird for the sake of weirdness. In my opinion, it's rather poorly directed and awkwardly edited. For some reason it has 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and a lot of critic slobber all over it. Maybe I just can't appreciate its magnificence.

Maybe because Isabella Rosallini was naked?

Watched the Water Diviner with Russell Crowe last night. Sure showed the brutality of war. I thought it was a good movie, anyone else see it.

Have any of y’all watched the Netflix original movie “Polar”? I was pretty impressed, it had a good mix of action, dark humor, and a decent twist at the end. Not all of the Netflix movies are worth watching but they have came a long way in general. And this movie in particular is good IMO.

Rip you were right about Atomic Blonde. It was well done with some very impressive choreography and equally impressive commitment from the actors. I'm glad I watched it.

Jordan Peele's Us was fantastic. That man knows how to direct, Get Out was certainly not a fluke.

Watching The Water Diviner right now. Russell Crowe's the director, an excellent film so far.

I love that film. Went to see it on the first day it came out in the cinema. Just terrific.
